How it works
One checked model for every company. Make it yours, and share your view.
The figures, the company (Example Foods) and the people on this page are illustrative.
One model for every company
Each company with a published model has one Official: its three financial statements, year by year, open to anyone.
| 2024 | 2025 | 2026 | 2027 f | 2028 f | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sales | 744 | 779 | 812 | 841 | 868 |
| Operating profit | 38 | 41 | 43 | 46 | 49 |
| Net profit | 25 | 27 | 29 | 31 | 33 |
Why you can trust the numbers
Press a dashed figure.
| 2026 | |

| Sales | |
| Operating profit | |
| Equity | |
| Cash from operations |
Every reported figure cites the document it came from.
Checks show a model is consistent and true to its sources. They can't tell you whether a forecast is right.
Where each document comes from
| What | From |
|---|---|
| Annual securities reports and earnings releases, Japan | The company's investor-relations site |
| Annual reports (10-K), US | The company's investor-relations site, or the SEC's where the company doesn't carry it |
| Presentations and data books | The company's investor-relations site |
Always the company's own document, never a summary of it. Anything else used is noted in the model.
Make it yours
- Fork the Officiala title and, if you like, your thesis; a free account
- It's your viewpublic from the start; the company page lists the views of its current Official
- Change the assumptionsthe model recalculates
- Others read itand fork it, comment, like

What we don't do
| We show | We don't |
|---|---|
| Models built from the company's reports | Say buy, sell or hold |
| Where every reported figure came from | Publish price targets |
| The assumptions behind each forecast | Give investment advice |
| Other people's views, as theirs | Present a view as ours |

Guides
- What happens when a company reports new results? When a company reports new results, we update its Official and publish a new version; your fork doesn't change by itself, and you're told if you forked the Official directly or saved the company.
- What is an Official, and where do its numbers come from?An Official is the one financial model Your Analyst builds and keeps for a listed company, made from the company's own reports and published only when it passes our checks.
- Who can see my forks and views?Anyone can see them: forks and views on Typecel for Markets are public, unless you are on the Personal or Pro plan and make a fork private.
- Why is my private model frozen?Your model is frozen because it is private and your plan no longer includes private models: make it public, or return to Personal or Pro, and you can work in it again.
